Rhetoric Wall
How do you know Trump is serious about the border? The illegals certainly are taking his threats seriously!

The National Border Patrol Council President, Brandon Judd, expressed that there has been a significant drop in illegal immigration due to President Trump’s immigration related policies that are in place.

Although Trump’s famous US-Mexico has not yet been built, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection notes that there been a significant reduction in the number of illegal immigrants making their way into the United States through the southwestern border.

It has been noted by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection that as of June they have experience a 53% reduction in the number of illegal immigration along the US-Mexico border, in comparison to June’16.

Judd stated that it is “miraculous” seeing that Trump administration has “caused the number of illegal border crosses to go down.”

“What we’ve seen is nothing short of miraculous,” Judd said on C-SPAN. “If you look at the rhetoric that President Trump has given, it’s caused the number of illegal border crossers to go down, something that we’ve never seen in history at the Border Patrol.”

Comparing the progress with what it was during the Obama administration, Judd stated that during Obama’s administration illegal immigrants were given an easy pass. He noted as the Obama administration would release those caught and issue a court date. With 80 percent of those being released never retuning back, many of the illegal immigrants would actually hand over themselves to law enforcement officers, and never return back once they were released with a court date.

“When you hear the Obama administration say we have to bring these people out of the shadows, what they were doing was actually going into the shadows instead of coming out,” Judd said.

Trump administration on the other hand holds on those caught until their court fate and would present them with a chance to prove as to why they should be allowed to stay in the United States. The former administration almost as if “skipped” important measures in hopes that the illegal immigrants would actually show up on their court date.

“As far as the Trump administration’s efforts on immigration, this is something they campaigned heavily on,” he said. “At six months, where we are on meeting those promises, we are seeing nothing short of miraculous. If you look at the rhetoric that President Trump has given, it has caused a number of illegal border crossings to go down. We have never seen such a drop that we currently have,” he further added.

In an appearance on “Fox and Friends” Judd further highlighted that with President Trump’s plan to build a wall along the US-Mexico border has increased the agency’s morale. He stated that the agency has an “energy” like never before and is committed to help promote President Trump’s agenda of putting an end to illegal immigration.

“There’s a vibe, there’s an energy in the Border Patrol that’s never been there before,” Mr. Judd said.

“In the 20 years I’ve been in the patrol, we haven’t seen this type of energy, and we’re excited because we signed up to do a job and this president is allowing us to do that job.”

Judd believes that Trump as “a president has done a great job of actually enforcing the law — something we didn’t see in the last eight years,” and that And if we continue to do that, then a clear message will be sent throughout the world that if you cross our borders illegally, you will be detained and you will be sent back.”

“If you look at the rhetoric that the president sent out, we’ve had a drop that we’ve never seen before with any president,” he continued. “If you’re in the left, right or middle, you have to say this president has done exactly what he promised to do and we do have border security like what we expect to see,” he added.

Border Crossing
"Here, I filled this bag with gatorade and chips for your crossing, enjoy your tax-free stay in the USA!"

Despite President Trump’s pledge to tighten border security Border Patrol agents in one of the nation’s busiest sectors for illegal immigrants and drugs were ordered this week to stand back after a surveillance camera recorded a group entering the U.S. from Mexico, federal law enforcement sources told Judicial Watch. The incident occurred in the vast desert terrain between Arizona and Mexico, Border Patrol officials said.

An agency Buckeye camera operated out of a mobile truck recorded the illegal crossers entering through Nogales, a town of around 20,000 adjacent to the Mexican state of Sonora. The video camera is used by the Border Patrol to monitor areas for illegal crossings and can be panned to follow crossers’ movements, sources told Judicial Watch.

Upon crossing the border, the group of illegal immigrants entered what the feds refer to as a “Samaritan camp,” according to a Border Patrol official who spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation from Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly’s management team. The special camps are operated by an Arizona-based open borders advocacy group called No Más Muertes (No More Deaths) and consist of several trailers on private property. The nonprofit’s mission is to end death and suffering in the Mexico-U.S. borderlands and enact immigration reform in America.

Besides the “Samaritan camps” along the Mexican border, the organization leaves water, food, blankets and other supplies along trails used by illegal immigrants to travel north. No Más Muertes also has staff in Mexico to provide phones for deportees and assistance, including first aid, for northbound migrants.

Although the organization’s sanctuary trailers are situated on the U.S. side of the border, federal agents are legally allowed to enter the property and remove the illegal crossers, law enforcement sources confirm. “If agents observe illegal conduct, apprehension does not require a warrant,” a federal law enforcement official with direct knowledge of the matter told Judicial Watch. In this case, probable cause had been established by the unlawful conduct observed by Border Patrol agents via the high-tech Buckeye camera. Instead of entering the property as legally allowed and removing the illegal aliens, agents were ordered to “negotiate” with the occupants,” Border Patrol officials said.

Photos produced by the surveillance camera were also produced to Judicial Watch by outraged Border Patrol officials who say Obama-era, open borders policies are still being implemented by Kelly’s management team. “Instead of proactively patrolling a porous and volatile border, Border Patrol resources are being utilized on the perimeter of the property to thwart any further incursions into or retreats from the sanctuary camp,” according to a law enforcement source involved in the Nogales incident.

Veteran agents say, that although Trump promised to toughen up security along the porous and increasingly violent Mexican border, for unknown reasons his DHS secretary continues to implement Obama sanctuary policies. There is a great concern among rank-and-file agents that these passive, limited enforcement policies increase the risk to agents and decrease the deterrence of the Trump border strategy.

Just a few weeks ago, Kelly stripped Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents of their independent enforcement authority by implementing a new policy that requires a supervisor’s permission to issue a detainer for illegal aliens suspected of crimes. Judicial Watch obtained the document outlining the new policy, which federal agents say is a constraint that creates a bottleneck and hampers their ability to take efficient on-site action against criminals in the country illegally.

Night Wolf 1 reporting for Border Patrol!

The chief of the Border Patrol agents’ labor union told the Congress last month that the Homeland Security Department has been reluctant to send helicopters to aid the Border Patrol on nighttime missions; often leaving agents to face illegal immigrants and possibly armed drug smugglers without critical air support.

Brandon Judd, an agent and the president of the National Border Patrol Council, warned that Trump will struggle to secure the border unless bureaucratic bungling is resolved and the ouster of Obama administration figures who complicated matters, happens. He said that helicopters are just one example of the many issues being faced by the agency.

Mr. Judd told the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee that when the Border Patrol controlled its own helicopters, its agents had the air support they needed. However, since the inception of the Homeland Security Department more than a decade ago, the helicopters were given over to the Office of Air and Marine, which has been quite hesitant to fly at night.

“Right now the Office of Air and Marine, they fly very little at night,” he told the committee. “In fact, in [the Rio Grande Valley sector], we had to use Coast Guard to fly sorties in certain areas. And when their apprehensions became so great, it’s my understanding the officer at Air and Marine asked them not to fly anymore at night in RGV because it was making them look bad.”

US Customs and Border Protection officials, the agency that heads both the Air and Marine division and the Border Patrol, declined to comment on the matter.

Bureaucratic hurdles and what Mr. Judd called “kingdom-building” could stymie President Trump’s immigration goals, he said.

“We talk about securing the border, and the border — we can absolutely secure it, but it cannot be secure if our operations are not sound,” Mr. Judd said while talking to The Washington Times.

“What’s very concerning to Border Patrol agents is, to this point, we still have the same people who gave us all of the failed operations, who were the authors of the catch-and-release program. They’re still in charge — even under this current administration. That’s head-scratching, especially since the president said we’re going to drain the swamp.”

Chris Cane, head of the union for Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council, and Mr. Judd, both agree that Trump’s changes to enforcement policies and giving agents a free hand to carry out their duties has definitely helped boost morale. But they are also of the opinion that the both agencies’ leadership needs to be looked into.

Complaints of bureaucratic bungling were understood by both Republicans and Democrats on the homeland security committee, who agree that it is necessary to find areas where they can help the agents to carry out their duty.

Border Patrol agents have the honor of holding the toughest job in law enforcement, but things are spiraling out of control and it is getting more dangerous.

The Chief of the United States Border Patrol had strong words for a Senate committee he met with on Wednesday.

Chief Mark A. Morgan had a chance to speak about the incredible rise of assaults and the dangers of “the toughest jobs in federal law enforcement.”

“In all these interactions across the country one thing was consistent and abundantly clear, that men and women of the United States Border Patrol have one of the toughest jobs in federal law enforcement.

They are the most assaulted federal law enforcement in the United States, more than 7400 border patrol agents have been assaulted since 2006. That rose in FY 16 by 20 percent and year to date, we’re seeing an increase of assaults of 200 percent from the previous year today. It’s a dangerous job.”

Border agents are not only getting assaulted, but several have been killed this year.

Morgan went on to mention that there is a new surge of illegals coming across the border. The most worrisome statistic is the amount of children and unaccompanied children that are crossing the border.

“A lot of resources are dedicated to being professional child care providers at this point,” Morgan told the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

He went on to call the job a “humanitarian mission”, and they are not able to do their national security mission as affectively.

So many people living south of the border are coming north that the United States are building new processing centers and we are still not keeping up.

According to a report by CBS, many illegals rushed to cross the border before the election. Many feared that if Trump won, a wall would be built and they wouldn’t have an opportunity in the future. Many also feared that if they were not in the USA by the time Hillary won, then they would not get amnesty.

See the report by CBS.

We have a very serious problem on our southern border; especially if our border agents are being assaulted while working as glorified childcare providers.

asylum

Throngs of Haitians, Africans, Russians, Armenians and Guatemalans are being admitted into the United States via the Mexican border with virtually no vetting for security or health risks, high level Homeland Security officials told Judicial Watch this week. Overwhelmed and understaffed border agents are bombarded daily with an onslaught of immigrants from these countries and have been ordered by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to process them as refugees with “credible fear.” Most are camping out in Mexican border towns and going “port shopping” before gaining entry to the U.S., according to federal officials whose identities must be kept anonymous because they fear retaliation. The ports “are unlike anything I’ve ever seen,” said Patricia Cramer, a veteran border agent who serves as president of the U.S. Customs employee union in the Tucson, Arizona sector.

One federal agent at the San Luis Port of entry in Arizona described the situation as a “mass crisis, like a third-world country.” A DHS supervisor in the region told Judicial Watch that the agency has issued an order from Washington D.C. to all agents: “No one is allowed to speak to the media.” The veteran DHS official said that to accommodate the influx border agencies have suspended regular business and “people that have actually gone through all the legal and proper ways to get documents are being shoved to the side.” One frustrated DHS official in the border region said she has never seen this type of rampant lawlessness throughout a lengthy career with the government. “The elected government officials claim we are against terrorism yet they are not doing anything to actually prevent terrorists from entering the country,” the DHS supervisor said, adding that the public should show up at ports of entry to see firsthand the problems border agents face every day.

The influx of Haitians and Africans has been making headlines in Mexico for weeks because droves of immigrants are being housed in shelters in Mexican border towns while they await entry into the United States under a secret accord with the Obama administration. The migrants’ journey begins in Brazil under a South American policy that allows the “free transit” of immigrants throughout the continent. Ecuador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama facilitate the process by transferring the concentration of foreigners towards Mexico based on an agreement that Mexico will help them gain entry into the U.S. so they can solicit asylum. Under the plan Mexico gives the immigrants 20-day visas and temporary shelter but the backlog is out of control because the U.S. isn’t processing the migrants fast enough. This week Mexico’s secretary of the interior, Miguel Angel Osorio Chong, told the country’s largest newspaper that DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson assured him the U.S. would speed up the process of admitting the refugees to “alleviate the crisis on the southern border.”

U.S. border agents can’t keep up and are working 16-hour shifts to accommodate the order, according to various officials on the frontline. DHS failed to respond to Judicial Watch’s request for an actual number, but here are figures provided to a Mexican newspaper by Mexico’s government this week: “More than 15,000 Haitian and Africans, especially from Congo, have crossed into Mexican territory in the last six months on their way to the United States, but more than 4,300 have been stranded on the border with California.” In a separate Mexican news report published this week the country’s secretary of health, Dr. José Narro Robles, delcared that the Haitians and Africans that remain in Baja California and Chiapas present serious health risks to Mexico.

Judicial Watch’s sources on the border say the overwhelming majority of migrants don’t appear to have been through any hardships. Instead many look in great physical shape, even muscular and fit, well-groomed and a lot of them have large amounts of cash. “They’re showing up with a few hundred dollars if not a few thousand dollars, new electronics, cell phones, tablets, etc.,” said a Border Patrol official in Arizona. Another border agent told Judicial Watch that many of the Haitians and Africans “know the administration is going to let them in and they come with an attitude of entitlement.”

It wouldn’t be the first time the Obama administration abuses the “credible fear” provision in immigration law to benefit its open borders agenda. In fact, last year Judicial Watch obtained government records showing that the administration let hundreds of illegal immigrants stay in the U.S. even though federal authorities knew in advance that an open borders group coached them to falsely claim “credible fear” to get asylum. The operation was part of a scam conducted by an immigrant rights organization called the National Immigrant Youth Alliance (NITA), which had coordinated demonstrations along the Southwest border in Texas and Arizona. In mid-2014 the group orchestrated a racket seeking to bring 250 illegal aliens into the U.S. through the Otay Mesa Port of Entry in San Diego, California. To assure the migrants were allowed to stay in the U.S., the group had them falsely claim that they had a “credible fear” of returning to their native country. Foreigners can claim asylum under five categories, based on fear of persecution over race, religion, nationality, political opinions or membership in a specific social group.

Border Patrol

The Border Patrol of the United States that is in charge of protecting our border has published essentially a “how to guide” for illegal immigrants to avoid being deported.

That is right, the agency that we pay with our tax dollars to keep illegal immigrants out, is actually helping illegals by telling them where to go to be safe. It all can be found on the Border Patrol’s website.

Obama is coming under fire for speaking out of both ends of his mouth and a “schizophrenic” immigration enforcement policy.

On one hand, Obama has deported more illegals than Bush did, but on the other hand offers a guide on how to not be deported.

Outlined on the website of the Border Patrol, the government agency describes in detail the places that are safe zones for illegals. Places where Department of Homeland Security and the Border Patrol will not detain or arrest illegals.

Here are some of the places taken directly from the website.

– Schools, such as known and licensed day cares, pre-schools and other early learning programs; primary schools; secondary schools; post-secondary schools up to and including colleges and universities; as well as scholastic or education-related activities or events, and school bus stops that are marked and/or known to the officer, during periods when school children are present at the stop;

– Medical treatment and health care facilities, such as hospitals, doctors’ offices, accredited health clinics, and emergent or urgent care facilities;

– Places of worship, such as churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples;

– Religious or civil ceremonies or observances, such as funerals and weddings;

– During public demonstration, such as a march, rally, or parade.

They are essentially giving the illegals a guide to avoid being arrested and deported.

Is that the goal of the Border Patrol, or is the mission to stop illegal immigration and capture illegals?

Not only are they helping the illegals stay in this country illegally, they also have a phone number and email address on the site that illegals can report violations to the “sensitive locations” listed above.”

Not only is Obama and the Border Patrol not doing what they are supposed to be doing, they are asking for illegals to report crimes against law enforcement.

What are your thoughts on how Obama is handling our immigration issue? Let us know in the comments below.

Terror Attack

Police in a U.S. town bordering Mexico have apprehended an undocumented, Middle Eastern woman in possession of the region’s gas pipeline plans, law enforcement sources tell Judicial Watch. Authorities describe the woman as an “Islamic refugee” pulled over during a traffic stop by a deputy sheriff in Luna County, New Mexico which shares a 54-mile border with Mexico. County authorities alerted the U.S. Border Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTF) has been deployed to the area to investigate, sources with firsthand knowledge of the probe confirm.

The gas pipeline plans in the woman’s possession include the Deming region, law enforcement sources say. Deming is a Luna County city situated about 35 miles north of the Mexican border and 60 miles west of Las Cruces. It has a population of about 15,000. Last year one local publication listed Deming No. 1 on a list of the “ten worst places” to live in New Mexico due to high unemployment, poverty, crime and a horrible public education system. The entire region is a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA), according to the Justice Department’s National Drug Intelligence Center due to the large amounts of methamphetamines, heroin, cocaine and marijuana smuggled through the state by Mexican traffickers. Specifically, the renowned Juárez and Sinaloa cartels operate in the area, the feds affirm in a report.

Judicial Watch has broken a number of stories in the last few years about Mexican drug traffickers smuggling Islamic terrorists into the United States through the porous southern border. Last summer high-level sources on both sides of the Mexico-U.S. border offered alarming details about an operation in which cartels smuggle foreigners from countries with terrorist links into a small Texas rural town near El Paso. Classified as Special Interest Aliens (SIA) by the U.S. government, the foreigners get transported to stash areas in Acala, a rural crossroads located around 54 miles from El Paso on a state road – Highway 20. Once in the U.S., the SIAs wait for pick-up in the area’s sand hills just across Highway 20.

A few months ago Judicial Watch reported that members of a cell of Islamic terrorists stationed in Mexico cross into the U.S. to explore targets for future attacks with the help of Mexican drug traffickers. Among the jihadists that travel back and forth through the porous southern border is a Kuwaiti named Shaykh Mahmood Omar Khabir, an ISIS operative who lives in the Mexican state of Chihuahua not far from El Paso, Texas. Khabir trained hundreds of Al Qaeda fighters in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen and has lived in Mexico for more than a year, according to Judicial Watch’s high-level Homeland Security sources.

Now Khabir trains thousands of men—mostly Syrians and Yemenis—to fight in an ISIS base situated in the Mexico-U.S. border region near Ciudad Juárez. Khabir actually brags in a European newspaper article about how easy it is to stake out American targets because the border region is wide open. In the same story Foreign Affairs Secretary Claudia Ruiz, Mexico’s top diplomat, says she doesn’t understand why the Obama administration and the U.S. media are “culpably neglecting this phenomenon,” adding that “this new wave of fundamentalism could have nasty surprises in store for the United States.”

This recent New Mexico incident brings to mind a story Judicial Watch broke less than a year ago involving five young Middle Eastern men apprehended by Border Patrol in an Arizona town (Amado) situated about 30 miles from the Mexican border. Two of the Middle Eastern men were carrying stainless steel cylinders in backpacks, alarming Border Patrol officials enough to call the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for backup. A multitude of federal agents descended on the property and the two men carrying the cylinders were believed to be taken into custody by the FBI.

Only three of the men’s names were entered in the Border Patrol’s E3 reporting system, which is used by the agency to track apprehensions, detention hearings and removals of illegal immigrants. E3 also collects and transmits biographic and biometric data including fingerprints for identification and verification of individuals encountered at the border. The other two men were listed as “unknown subjects,” which is unheard of. “In all my years I’ve never seen that before,” a veteran federal law enforcement agent told Judicial Watch.

unaccompanied minors

Breaking news from the southern border is going to change the narrative of this election because there are more unaccompanied minors coming across than any time in history.

The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol shattered all illegal immigration records when in the first six months of 2014, 28,578 unaccompanied minors were caught entering the United States.

So far this year, just four months in, we are already at 27,754.

Remember these are children who are apprehended. This does not take in to account any that were not detained by Border Patrol.

The totals for this year could be around 100,000 unaccompanied minors. This is just the minors. This doesn’t take into account the hundreds of thousands of adults that are coming in, or the thousands of kids who accompany them.

The illegal immigration debate hit a highpoint in 2014 when we all and unprecedented amount of illegals flooding our southern border. It was a state of emergency.

Things slowed down on the border last year, but this year the unaccompanied minor numbers are up over 78%. The overall immigration numbers show similar growth.

This issue isn’t going away and it could be the kind of news that will help Donald Trump and his call to build a wall.

These troubling reports are coming at a time when we have seen the Border Patrol shrink under President Obama, and in some cases taxpayers are paying for the transport of illegals to other parts of the country to be with their families.

Just imagine what would happen if somehow the Democrats pull some political magic and allow illegals or undocumented immigrants to vote. It is highly doubtful that they would ever vote Republican and it would forever turn this country blue.

With scenarios like that, the wall sounds better and better every day.

Border Patrol

Thanks to the works of the Obama Administration, American borders are now a free for all.

An agent for U.S. Customs and Border Protection testified that the agency has been ordered to release all illegal immigrants from custody and to not track their whereabouts.

The agent told lawmakers that the new policy, “makes mandatory the release, without an NTA, of any person arrested by the Border Patrol for being in the country illegally, as long as they do not have a previous felony arrest conviction and as long as they claim to have been continuously in the United States since January of 2014. The operative word in this policy is ‘claim.’ The policy does not require the person to prove they have been here which is the same burden placed on them during deportation proceedings. Instead, it simply requires them to claim to have been here since January of 2014.”

The Center for Immigration Studies bolstered the claims of the agent with their press release issued today:

American communities continue to be inundated by a continuing large influx of illegal immigrants from Central America – about 240,000 new illegal arrivals since 2012. Over the last year, the number of illegal minor arrivals has increased 117 percent, and the number of new illegally family arrivals has increased 187 percent. Today the U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration and Border Security examines the Obama administration’s “new normal.”

Jessica Vaughan, director of policy studies at the Center for Immigration Studies, stresses that the surge of migrants should not be characterized as a “refugee flow,” as their primary reason for coming to the U.S. is not because they were displaced by conflict or persecution, but because they have heard that Obama administration policies allow them to stay in the United States.

Vaughan says that the administration’s “see no evil” approach to the border crisis meant that government agencies adopted shockingly negligent policies for relocating the unaccompanied juvenile migrants. The vast majority of minors are placed “without verifying the identity of sponsors, criminal histories, or incomes.” As a result, federal authorities lost track of most of the minors and some were placed in human trafficking, debt labor, and other abusive situations.

American communities also pay a high price from absorbing the large number of illegal immigrants. Local governments are forced to find funding to incorporate large numbers of new students, who often have few years of education and do not speak English. In addition, health care services are high due to vaccination needs and many of the minors being injured or abused during their trip to the U.S.

But the cost is not merely fiscal; gang numbers and crime are climbing in many locations throughout the country causing a real public safety menace. Vaughan notes: “Violent transnational gangs such as MS-13 have taken full advantage of the Obama administration’s welcome mat to swell their ranks here, contributing to a noticeable spike in gang violence in certain localities – with tragic results.” She recounts a number of recent instances of gang violence and mayhem attributed to teens who arrived as unaccompanied minors and slipped through the lax screening process.

Vaughan concludes that Congress must force a change to alleviate the strain on communities. “Only those juveniles who are victims of exploitative human trafficking and who are without family members in the U.S. should receive special due process protections.” Those without a legitimate claim for relief should be prioritized for deportation. Vaughan concluded, “Congress should not allow the Obama administration to incentivize illegal immigration and human smuggling by rewarding those who participate – especially when this act involves children.”

terrorists-are-watching

It was not meant for public disclosure but a news outlet got ahold of a chilling Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) alert warning U.S. military families that they are being watched and confronted by Middle Eastern men.

The cryptic FBI memo was issued to law enforcement agencies in Colorado and Wyoming and says that Middle Eastern men are approaching families of U.S. military members at their homes in both states, specifically in Greeley and Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Middle Eastern men have also tried to gain personal information about military members and their families through intimidation, according to the FBI bulletin, which reveals that the victims reported feeling scared.

Among the stalking victims is the wife of a military member who was approached by two Middle Eastern men in front of her house. The FBI statement says the Middle Easterners told the woman that she’s the wife of a U.S. interrogator and the men laughed when she denied their claims. Then they fled in a dark, four-door sedan with two other Middle Eastern males inside. “The woman had observed the vehicle in the neighborhood on previous occasions,” the FBI alert confirms. This was not an isolated incident and in fact, the FBI reveals that it has received similar reports of similar events occurring in Wyoming throughout June.

The feds are probably scratching their collective heads wondering who leaked this internal memo. When the news outfit that made it public contacted the FBI, the agency refused to comment but the Colorado Department of Homeland Security acknowledged the alert had been issued and encouraged military families to report suspicious behavior to the FBI. Judicial Watch also put in a call to the FBI and its umbrella agencies—the departments of Justice (DOJ) and Homeland Security (DHS), but all three failed to respond as has been the case when JW has reported on related issues.

Last fall JW broke a story about the threat posed to a U.S. military base by Islamic terrorists operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez. High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources confirmed to JW that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border had been issued. The plot involved using car bombs or other vehicle borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED) to attack the U.S., apparently including Ft. Bliss, the Army base in El Paso, Texas. DHS did not respond to multiple inquiries from JW about the information but the commanding general at Ft. Bliss was briefed and the compound implemented increased security measures.

A few weeks later senior military experts contacted by JW confirmed that, based on the sudden increase in security, Ft. Bliss was likely a target of the terrorist attack even though the Obama administration went out of its way to deny it. Military installations in the U.S. only make changes to security measures when there are clear and present threats, the experts told JW. One of them, retired Army Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, former commander of the Army’s elite Delta Force who also served four years as Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence, confirmed that “Ft. Bliss had to have a clear and present threat.”

The Ft. Hood Army base in Texas is also a target for Islamic terrorists, according to retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, who’s regularly briefed by high-level contacts in the region. As we all know, Ft. Hood was already attacked by a radical Army psychiatrist (Nidal Malik Hasan) who murdered 13 colleagues and wounded dozens of others as he chanted “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great in Arabic). Hasan had ties to a radical mosque leader (Anwar al Awlaki) who promotes jihad against the U.S., attempted to contact Al Qaeda associates prior to the attack and defended Islamic suicide bombers in comments he posted on the internet.

Now this new leaked FBI alert confirms what has been reported—and officially denied by the government—for months; that Middle Eastern men, likely with terrorist intentions, are targeting U.S. military personnel on their own soil.
