Foreign Women

Donald Trump campaigned on an “America First” agenda, yet when it came to impressing foreign leaders and giving in to his daughter, Ivanka, this time around he dropped that promise to his voters and instead pledged $50 million dollars to a World Bank fund to assist women entrepreneurs in developing countries.

The pledge that will be paid for by U.S. taxpayers was given at the recent G-20 meeting.

Justifying the expense, Trump told reporters, “When more women participate in the work force, which by the way will be a lot more competition for people like me prior to government . . . the world economy will grow and millions of people will be lifted out of poverty.”

How that helps American interests was not discussed.

During the 2016 election and since President Trump’s inauguration, the first daughter, Ivanka Trump, has been a vocal advocate for women’s issues both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

Ivanka’s problem is that she is of champion liberal issues like the wage gap that has been debunked countless times.

A growing chorus of Trump supporters are echoing the sentiment that they did not elect Ivanka or her lifelong-Democrat husband, Jared Kushner.

Should Trump have pledged $50 million to the World Bank for Ivanka’s pet issue, or instead followed through on a tax cut for American workers?

More kids equals more leave - Guaranteed!

Ivanka, the first daughter and senior adviser to President Trump, backed Trump’s proposal for the 2018 budget and highlighted that the importance of a paid family leave that is contained within the proposal. The budget proposal by Trump includes six weeks of paid leave for families, after they have given birth or adopted a child.

In an op-ed penned by Trump herself, she wrote, “The policy outlined in the administration’s recent budget proposal emphasizes the need for mothers and fathers to have access to paid leave to encourage both parents to share parenting responsibilities and to strive toward minimizing hiring biases.”

“Providing a national guaranteed paid-leave program — with a reasonable time limit and benefit cap — isn’t an entitlement, it’s an investment in America’s working families,” Trump wrote in a Wall Street Journal op-ed. She indicated that such programs are not reaching “the poorest, most vulnerable workers in our society …” and that, the “government benefits should not be a substitute for private-sector investment,” as implementing paid-leave on a national scale shall participation from the “private sector companies and state governments.”

“To this end, we are working with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle to design a paid-leave policy that provides a targeted benefit to help the people who need it the most and are least likely to receive it from their employer, without discouraging larger companies from developing more generous policies,” she writes.

She further argued that implanting such policies shall lead to “healthier children and parents in more tightly bonded families, greater financial stability and stronger attachment to the labor force are among the most important” and would promote the participation of women in the work force. “Women’s increased participation in the workforce in recent decades has been an important driver of middle-class incomes; in fact, research by the Council of Economic Advisers suggests that the vast majority of middle-income growth since 1970 is the result of increased female labor-force participation and education,” she writes.

The White House also emphasized on the idea contained in Trump’s op-ed n Wall Street Journal. An excerpt of Trump op-ed from WSJ, was posted on the White House website. Further emphasis was made by the White House stating on their website that “a 2012 study found that women who took paid family leave were more likely to be working a year after their child’s birth than those who didn’t take leave, and that women who took leave and returned to work were 39% less likely to report receiving public assistance than those who didn’t. Additionally, making it easier for new parents to return to work after the arrival of a new baby is a critical part of solving the persistent gender and minority pay gap that exists in part because of prolonged periods away from the workforce and challenges with re-entry.”

Bill Maher, host of HBO’s “Real Time” faced major backlash after he made a vulgar joke regarding President Trump and his daughter.

Maher, while talking to New York Magazine reporter Gabriel Sherman, was noted to have joked about Ivanka’s attempts to “humanize” her father that have supposedly lead him to believe that they have some abnormal social behavior going on behind the scenes.

“A lot of us thought: Ivanka is gonna be our saving grace,” Maher said. “When he’s about to f**kin’ nuke Finland or something, she’s gonna walk into the bedroom and, you know, —‘Daddy, Daddy.’” Maher even went on to mimicked Ivanka pleasuring with her father by making disgusting hand gesture and saying, “‘Don’t do it, Daddy.’”

Sherman, on the other hand, appeared to be extremely ashamed and uncomfortable. Sherman tried to make efforts to steer away from the conversation, but much of the damage was already done.

“I think, again, she’s on the margins trying to save us — to the degree that she can — but Donald Trump doesn’t listen to anybody, including his own family,” Sherman answered.

Maher went on with his jokes, “Be nice to Ivanka, she’s our only hope — because she seems like she actually knows rationality, but she’s [Trump’s] kid, and she’s the only one who can get to him, and you know he loves her. If he’s going to do something nutty, we’re going to depend on Ivanka going into that bedroom.”

Maher then, took another stab at mimicking Ivanka, “‘Daddy, you have to apologize for that tweet where you called Angela Merkela a ‘c**t.’ You have to apologize, Daddy!”

The public was fast to show their response to Maher’s action and took matters to Twitter.

A series of tweets surrounded the Internet, some of which were:

“Bill Maher incest “joke” about Ivanka Trump sick. Just shows everyone how deranged Maher truly is to even think of such crap.”

“@seanhannity the incest joke bill maher made about ivanka and our president was repulsive. imagine someone said this about Obama !!”

“#UNACCEPTABLE Bill Maher, accused of crossing the line with tasteless incest joke about Ivanka Trump http://www.infowars.com/real-time-host-bill-maher-is-accused-of-crossing-the-line-with-tasteless-incest-joke-about-ivanka-trump/ … @realalexjones”

“Bill Maher is smart and incredibly talented. But the incest joke about Ivanka Trump was way over the line,” said David Shuster.

There's no doubt she's beloved, but do her views fit in a Republican White House?

No matter what side of the political spectrum people fall under, most can agree that Ivanka Trump is an amazing individual and if America had a princess, she would be the closest thing to it.

But with that said, does Ivanka belong in the White House to influence and advise her father, President Trump?

American voters elected Donald Trump based upon his promise to “Make America Great Again” by reducing legislation, improving the business environment and basically unwinding the plethora of liberal policies that have infected Washington for decades.

Trump’s message does not mesh with Ivanka’s views.

This first became evident when Ivanka began to have her father carry the torch of forcing employers to provide maternity leave.

Currently, under the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, employers are required to provide at least 12 weeks of unpaid leave to mothers of newborns and newly adopted children.

Only 54% of mothers choose to return to work after having a child.

Ivanka – through her father — is proposing six weeks of paid leave for new parents.

By forcing employers to pay mothers for up to six weeks when they may not even return to work, regulators would be doing significant harm to companies.

For many, the move obligates employers to provide six weeks of severance to mothers who have no intent to return to work.

Even worse, employers would be unable to fill the empty company slots until after 12 weeks.

Ivanka’s viewpoint is distanced from reality and globs onto a liberal viewpoint.

Ironically, liberals want to brand Ivanka as a conservative and work hard to dispel the “liberal myth” of Ivanka.

But actions speak louder than the liberal publication’s attempt to minimize Ivanka’s liberal influence.

Last month, it was widely sourced that both Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner convinced Trump to stay in the Paris Climate Agreement – something then Candidate Trump vowed to eliminate.

If you don’t believe that, then believe this old saying: “Tell me who you walk with and I’ll tell you who you are.”

Ivanka’s close associates are not inspiring.

The most telling of whom is Jamie Gorelick, Ivanka’s and Jared Kushner’s personal attorney.

Gorelick served as Department of Defense General Counsel and was then promoted to Deputy Attorney General by President Bill Clinton. Gorelick was Janet Reno’s #2.

Following that role, Gorelick, despite no experience in finance, was appointed as Vice Chairman of Fannie Mae. According to a government investigation of a $10 billion accounting scandal during her tenure, Gorelick received $26.5 million in compensation from Fannie Mae from 1998 to 2002.

While Gorelick is an exceptional attorney, she has through her career has advocated for big, powerful government and was given positions of power by Democrats.

Another close friend of Ivanka Trump is Chelsea Clinton . . . who requires no explanation of her liberal bona fides.

Ivanka’s closest confidant is her husband, Jared Kushner.

While Kushner now holds an official position in a Republican White House, he has donated $101,950 to Democrat candidates over twenty years . . . including $6,000 to Hillary Clinton’s races.

Kushner’s only donation to Republicans before supporting his father-in-law went to Rudy Giuliani in 1999 for $1,000 – not even the maximum donation.

Jared’s father, Charles Kushner was found to have illegally donated over $500,000 to political candidates and committees. Charles was a supporter of Democratic Presidential Candidate Bill Bradley.

Ivanka’s current actions and ongoing relationships do not speak highly of her support for her father’s agenda.

As of yesterday, the First Daughter is setting up office on the second floor of the White House and getting her security clearances despite having no official position.

While it can be argued that Ivanka provides a moderating influence on her father, that influence may have already resulted in Donald Trump breaking his promise to voters over the Paris Climate Agreement and has lead to liberal proposals that will harm business.

Hmmm . . . who is lying here?

This battle has been brewing for weeks but came to a head this week as Nordstrom, TJ Maxx, Neiman Marcus, Belk, Jet.com and even HSN have stopped carrying Ivanka Trump’s clothing line.

Many of the retailers defended their actions saying that the First Daughter’s products were not selling.

However a review of Ivanka Trump’s products on Amazon that her clothes and shoes are consistently ranked within the top 100 of their respective catagories . . . ahead of competitors that still bless the racks of Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus.

The reasonable-priced Women’s Livi Boot sells for $72.99 (a steal) and is ranked #17 on Amazon among Women’s Riding Boots.

Ivanka’s “Tummy Control” Midi Skirt is ranked #12 in work wear.

Her Crepe Straight Leg Pants are ranked #15 in women’s work pants.

A total of 866 different products appear on Amazon under the “Ivanka Trump” search term and a majority of them are among Amazon’s best selling products for women.

Based upon those results, President Trump, who treated his displeasure with the retailer’s actions, is correct about Ivanka being treated unfairly.

It would appear that these retailers have buckled under the weak protests of the left.

What will they do with supporters of Ivanka take a stand on her behalf.

Ivanka

Ivanka Trump made a big splash at the RNC, but her comments when speaking with Gretta on Fox proves she is not afraid to mix it up, even with the president.

Ivanka and Gretta sat down for an interview this week, and the oldest daughter and Vice President at the Trump organization proved that she is one tough woman.

The interview started with some easy questions and we got to see the soft side of Ivanka, then Gretta asked about Obama’s comments.

The oldest daughter of Trump didn’t’ shy away from directly disagreeing with president and even taking shots at the “lies” in the media.

Watch the interview and see why people are saying that if Donald has this woman giving him advice, then he already has a better team than Hillary.

Ivanka shot down criticism and stood up for her father in a very dignified and confident way.

Donald did a good job in raising his kids, and they are doing a good job keeping him balanced.

Ivanka is a shining star on Trump’s team and the campaign should really consider getting her out in front of the camera and in front of crowds as often as possible.

What are your thoughts on Ivanka Trump and her roll in her father’s campaign? Let us know in the comments below.

First Daughter

At both the Republican and Democratic conventions, the nominees planned to be introduced by their daughters.

Donald Trump was introduced by his oldest daughter, Ivanka Trump as she was introduced to the world in prime time.

Ivanka captivated the media and America and pundits on both sides were praising her for her poise, compassion and delivery of a great speech that really helped Trump.

Chelsea speaks tonight and if her mother wins, she will be the first child to be the president’s daughter for two different presidents.

Chelsea was young in the 90’s in the White House but has always maintained a respected composure but has a hard time standing out with Bill and Hillary as her parents. Maybe the convention will be her big moment.

The two women have led two completely different lives but are both respected and both have been really well raised.

What we want to know is, whom would you rather see as the First Daughter starting in January 2017?

Trump Children

Looking at the schedule for the Republican National Convention, there was one name that was on the list each night. Of course that name was Trump.

Monday Melania Trump spoke and over the next three nights, Donald’s four oldest children took to the stage in prime-time speeches.

Many Americans were meeting the Trump kids for the first time, and nobody on either side of the isle was ready for poise, confidence and passion that each child spoke with.

It is safe to say, the Trump children stole the show, but don’t take our word for it, see for yourself. Watch the full speeches of all four Trump children below.

Tiffany Trump was the first of the four children to speak. Tiffany is the daughter of Trump’s second wife, Marla Maples, and has been relatively silent during this campaign. Until now.

Here is Tiffany Trump’s full speech.

On day two, Donald Trump Jr. took the stage after his sister Tiffany and really gave a passionate speech and was incredibly well spoken and well received. The 38-year old father of five delivered a strong speech.

See Donald Trump Jr.’s full speech.

On the third night, Eric Trump gave his remarks. Eric has dedicated much of his life to charitable work and spoke with more compassion than we’ve seen from a male Trump. Eric really shined and had one of the best all around speeches of the convention.

See Eric Trump’s full speech here.

The last of the four children to speak was Ivanka Trump. Ivanka is a strong, smart and beautiful woman and she did an amazing job. She proved to be a shining star in a family that is shining pretty bright right now.

Hear Ivanka speak and see why people on both sides of the isle were joking on Twitter about having Ivanka be the nominee instead of Donald.

See Ivanka Trump’s full speech here.

After watching the four oldest children of Donald Trump speak at the Republican National Convention, it is hard to deny that he has been a good and strong father.

We are sure MSNBC will say that Donald is so crazy that his kids actually came out sane or that their mother’s did all the raising while Trump was busy bankrupting airlines, but now America knows the truth. Donald is a good and successful father.

Regardless of how people try to spin it, Donald Trump should be extremely proud of his children because they really performed well.

What do you think about the Trump children? Let us know in the comments below?
