Wacky Uniform
Where we're going we don't need camouflage!

Apparently, the Pentagon is much focused when it comes to fashion. A report released by Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) highlights that the the Pentagon has flushed down $28 million over the decade, in their efforts to purchase camouflage uniforms for our Afghan soldiers present within a very tiny fraction of the worn torn country’s landscape.

In an interview with USA Today, John Sopko, the special inspector general expressed his content:

“My concern is what if the minister of defense liked purple, or liked pink?” he said.

And added, “Are we going to buy pink uniforms for soldiers and not ask questions? That’s insane. This is just simply stupid on its face. We wasted $28 million of taxpayers’ money in the name of fashion, because the defense minister thought that that pattern was pretty. So if he thought pink or chartreuse was it, would we have done that?”

In his interview with NBC News, Spoko stated that there was no point in the Pentagon spending such high sums of money purchasing uniforms “based upon camouflage purposes, especially when the soldiers are present in only two percent of a “desert country. He said, “You don’t pick a proprietary pattern for an arid desert country based upon fashion. You want to pick it based upon camouflage purposes. If you were fighting away in Germany or Maine, where you have forest, then this makes sense.”

Sen. Chuck Grassley, the Iowa Republican and senior member of the Budget and Finance committees, also did not stand back to express his disappointment, “You’d think the Pentagon would have had a good handle on how to pick the right camouflage for uniforms,” he said, and that “Instead, the Defense Department gave up control of the purchase and spent an extra $28 million on the wrong pattern just because someone in Afghanistan liked it. It’s embarrassing and an affront to U.S. taxpayers. Those who wasted money on the wrong camouflage uniforms seem to have lost sight of their common sense.”

The report presented by the SIGAR, also included a statement form a veteran and camouflage consultant Timothy O’Neill, who explained that perhaps the uniform change was an important decision, as “Desert designs don’t work well in woodland areas and woodland patterns perform poorly in the desert,” he said. However, he identified that

However, the reports point out that, “The U.S. government already had rights to multiple uniform patterns that were not in use by U.S. forces, which could have been used by the (Afghan National Army) at no cost, and may have been equally effective in the Afghan environment.”

As NBC states: “The decision to go with that particular style instead of one already available to the U.S. government reportedly cost an extra $26 million to about $28 million.”

Therefore, the Pentagon could have saved taxpayers hard earned money had then not been so eager to work with private companies to cater their specific tastes in fashion.

No Nonsense
Iran knows whose boss - and so does the world.

Sending his condolences to the victims of the latest terror attacks in Iran, President Donald Trump issued a statement on Wednesday from the White House. However, it was in the conclusion of his statement that he stunningly rebuked the government of Iran.

“We grieve and pray for the innocent victims of the terrorist attacks in Iran,” the statement read, “and for the Iranian people, who are going through such challenging times.”

“We underscore the risks that states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote,” it added.

The statement suggests that since Iran has been a state sponsor of terrorism all over the world, according to the US intelligence community, it has been attacked by the terrorists created by itself.

As expected, Iran has blamed Saudi Arabia for the twin attacks last Wednesday, on the shrine of a revered Iranian politician. The attackers used suicide bombs and other arms.

According to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, the attacks could be related to the President Trump’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

“World public opinion, especially in Iran, sees the fact that this terrorist act was perpetrated soon after the meeting of the U.S. president with the heads of one of the reactionary regional states that has always supported … terrorists as to be very meaningful,” the statement read.

However, the statement from the White House, following the attacks, is bound to attract more animosity from Iran, the beneficiary of a historic nuclear deal with former President Barack Obama. It should be noted that the deal attracted a great deal of criticism from President Trump.

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Kahn was shut-down by Piers Morgan for stating that budget restraints had kept him from monitoring 400 people with suspected terror ties, in London.

“You are the mayor of the capital city where the most recent terrorist attack has taken place. How many of those 400 have come back to London?” co-host Susanna Reid asked.

“The estimate is just over half,” Khan admitted.

“Where are they?!” Morgan yelled. “No, seriously, where are they?”

“How are we letting people back into the U.K., who haven’t just been trained,” Reid asked, “they’ve actually fought, potentially against our troops, how are we letting them back in without knowing exactly where they are and what they’re up to. Because out of all the thousands of people that we’re concerned about, surely those who’ve actually gone to fight are the biggest risk.”

“That’s one of the reasons why it doesn’t make sense for the government to be cutting resources,” Khan responded.

“But where are they, you’re the mayor of this capital city, where are they?” Morgan interjected.

“Well, hold on, I can’t follow 400 people, what I can do…” Khan protested.

“Why can’t you instruct the police?” Piers interrupted, “why can’t you call [Met Police Chief] Cressida Dick right now and say ‘everyone of those people who’s come back from a war zone who’s in London, I want them followed.’”

“Let me say why,” Khan responded. “Because the Met Police budget, roughly speaking, 15% to 20% is funded by me the mayor. The rest comes from central government. If the Met Police budget is being shrunk and reduced, then you got to prioritize and use their resources in a sensible, savvy way.”

“What could be a bigger priority than people coming back from a Syrian battlefield with intent to harm British citizens?” Morgan demanded. “Why is it not the number one priority?”

“Why are these people just allowed to come back in, in the first place, and then the London mayor doesn’t appear to have a clue where any of them are!” he added, “I mean, no disrespect to you, but where are they?”

“Well,” Khan said, “that’s one of the questions that obviously the police…”

“But you’re the mayor!” Morgan implored. “Sadiq, you’re the mayor of London!”

“But this chap here,” Khan explained, “the three men responsible for the attacks on Saturday night hadn’t come from overseas, they were, for all intents and purposes, integrated into our way of life.”

Recently, Britain had attracted a string of terror attack that have put elected official on defense in regards to whether they’re doing enough to protect their citizens.

What's this red light for?

According to the Department of Homeland Security, federal investigation authorities are investigating radical Islamic terrorists across the nation. The DHS has warned that the threat of terrorism in all 50 states has reached an all-time high. Furthermore, radicalized persons in the country are plotting attacks “each and every single day.”

DHS Secretary John Kelly revealed that the FBI has “open terrorist investigations in all 50 states.” He disclosed on Tuesday, that since 2013, there have been at least 37 “ISIS linked plots to attack our country.” He believes that the number shows no signs of decreasing.

In his first public address regarding the threat of terrorism in the US, since taking office, Kelly warned that the country’s borders are wide open and that there is plenty of evidence to support the fact that terrorists are exploiting these weaknesses in the national security plan to enter the US.

“We don’t know their intentions,” Kelly said during an address at George Washington University. “We don’t know why they’re here or why they’re coming. We are completely blind to what they’re capable of.”

Kelly further said that terrorists continue to grow inside communities across America. He elaborated that there have “36 homegrown terrorist cases in 18 states,” in the past one year alone.

“We’ve seen an unprecedented spike in homegrown terrorism,” Kelly disclosed. “These are the cases we know about—homegrown terrorism is notoriously difficult to predict and control.”

“I tell you, without exaggeration, they try to carry out this mission each and every single day and no one can tell you how to stop it. No one,” he said.

He continued, saying that the US is “under attack” from various terrorist organizations and individuals including “failed states, cyber-terrorists, vicious smugglers, and sadistic radicals.”

“And we are under attack every single day,” he said. “The threats are relentless.”

Criminals and potential terrorists who slip inside the country undetected pose an unparalleled threat to the country.

“We don’t get to vet them,” Kelly said. “We don’t know their intentions. We don’t know they’re here. They slip into our country unnoticed, living among us, and we are completely blind as to what they are capable of.”

Emphasizing on the potential these terrorists have inside and outside the country, he explained, “This is all bad news, but it gets much worse. Experts estimate that perhaps 10,000 citizens of Europe have joined the caliphate in Syria and Iraq. Thousands more are from nations in Asia, Africa and the Western Hemisphere. They have learned how to make IEDs, employ drones to drop ordnance, and acquired experience on the battlefield that by all reports they are bringing back home.”

“We are under attack from terrorists both within and outside of our borders,” he said. “They are without conscience, and they operate without rules. They despise the United States, because we are a nation of rights, laws, and freedoms. They have a single mission, and that is our destruction.”

Coptic church in Cairo, Egypt

Editor-at-large at the Daily Mail, Piers Morgan, slammed the mainstream media for the lack of attention it has given to terrorist bombing of Coptic Christians in Egypt. In his comments to Tucker Carlson on Monday, Morgan said the terrorist attack on Christians in Egypt received little attention, compared to other attacks in the West, from the western media even though the event was “unbelievably significant.”

“I think unfortunately if it happens in the Middle East,” he explained, “this kind of atrocity, it just does not seem to attract the kind of media attention in America that it would if it happened, as we’ve seen in the attacks in Sweden, the last few days, in London, two weeks ago, I was there for that. Huge attention in the American media. You know, in Paris, in Nice, these get huge attention.”

“And yet what happened in Egypt was unbelievably significant,” Morgan continued. “You know if you look at what ISIS really stands for, what they are carrying out in the Middle East, and in Egypt in particular, is a kind of genocidal attack on Christians and Christianity. They want Christianity eradicated, and they want to convert all Muslims to their crusade, they want it to be a Holy War, and they want Christians gone.”

“And I don’t think that narrative is getting the attention it should get in the American media,” he concluded, “and I have to say in other media around the world.”

Morgan was asked why it appears to him that it’s impolite to mention attacks on Christians in the Middle East, despite the West being defined by Christianity.

“Right, I mean ISIS couldn’t be more transparent,” Morgan answered. “On the attack in St. Petersburg last week, they made it absolutely clear that this is a war against the cross. They said that. That is what the statement said. They are at war in their heads, with Christianity. Not just with Christianity, they are at war with all other religions as well.”

“But they have been singling out, in increasingly virulent terms, their real war now is against Christians and the cross,” he added.

“Now I think this is a huge story,” Morgan concluded. “This is the kind of story that ought to be dominating cable news, in America. It should be dominating headlines around the world. The press in America should be full of headlines about this.”

Two Coptic Christian churches in Egypt were attacked by terrorists as they were celebrating Palm Sunday. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attacks in statement released soon after. The death toll currently stands at 44 with many more critically injured.

Yeah, that's just not gonna happen.

The Islamic terrorist front group that transformed the way U.S. law enforcement agencies conduct anti-terrorism training is ordering the Air Force to sever ties with an instructor it considers to be anti-Muslim. The question is will the Trump administration cave into its demands? Under Barack Obama, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a group that reportedly raises money for Hamas, wielded tremendous power and managed to bully law enforcement agencies at the local, state and federal level to alter counterterrorism training materials deemed by the group to discriminate against Muslims.

This includes getting the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to purge anti-terrorism training curricula of material determined to be “offensive” to Muslims. Judicial Watch uncovered that scandal and obtained the FBI records. Based on troves of government documents, Judicial Watch subsequently published a special, in-depth report on the scandal. CAIR is not specifically named but the records show that an undisclosed group of “Subject Matter Experts” (SME) determined the federal training material was offensive to Muslims. CAIR also got police departments in Illinois to eliminate anti-terrorism training materials and instructors deemed anti-Muslim. As an example, CAIR asserted that an instructor for the Lombard, Illinois police force wrote an article years earlier that included disparaging comments about the Prophet Muhammad. The course was called “Islamic Awareness as a Counter-Terrorist Strategy” and departments in Lombard, Elmhurst and Highland Park caved into CAIR’s demands.

Keep in mind that CAIR is a terrorist front group with extensive links to foreign and domestic Islamists. It was founded in 1994 by three Middle Eastern extremists (Omar Ahmad, Nihad Awad and Rafeeq Jaber) who ran the American propaganda wing of Hamas, known then as the Islamic Association for Palestine. In 2008 CAIR was a co-conspirator in a federal terror-finance case involving the Hamas front group Holy Land Foundation. Read more in a Judicial Watch special report that focuses on Muslim charities. Judicial Watch also tried to find out if CAIR got the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to overhaul its anti-terrorism training but the spy agency said it could “neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of records” involving meetings or communications with the Muslim rights group. The CIA asserted that the information is classified intelligence protected from disclosure. The response goes on to cite the statutes—such as the CIA Act of 1949 and National Security Act of 1947—that allow the agency to hide even the most benign information from the American public. It’s likely that the CIA met with CAIR during the Obama years—or at least had communication with the extremist group—and doesn’t want the public to know about it.

Time will tell if CAIR’s cozy relationship with the Obama administration will carry over into the new one. Regardless, the group was emboldened in the last eight years and continues making demands in the name of Muslim rights. This week it called on the military to get rid of a top counterterrorism instructor at the United States Air Force Special Operations School (USSAFSOS) in Florida. The instructor, Patrick Dunleavy, teaches a course called “The Dynamics of International Terrorism” designed to provide awareness and appreciation of the organization, motivation, operational capabilities and threat posed by terrorists on an international, national, and regional basis. It was designed for individuals with no previous antiterrorism training and focuses on protective measures that government personnel and their families can employ to minimize threats.

Dunleavy, the course instructor, is a former deputy inspector general for the New York State Department of Corrections and has testified before Congress as an expert witness on the threat of Islamic radicalization in the nation’s prison system. Dunleavy is also a senior fellow at a decades-old nonprofit dedicated to investigating the operations, funding, activities and front groups of Islamic extremists worldwide. The think-tank, Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), is recognized as a comprehensive data center on radical Islamic terrorist cells and its founder is a terrorism and national security expert who has advised Congress, the president, FBI and National Security Council. After 9/11 he published a best-selling book documenting how one of the world’s most notorious terrorist groups plotted the worst terrorist attack on American soil without detection or scrutiny by American authorities.

CAIR uses Dunleavy’s association with IPT to call for his ouster as a military antiterrorism instructor, asserting that the research center is an “anti-Muslim propaganda mouthpiece, and has made a number of false statements betraying a personal prejudice against Islam and Muslims.” IPT’s founder, Steven Emerson, has a history of making “Islamophobic” statements, CAIR says, involving terrorist attacks that date back to the 1990s. The Islamic group reminds the commander of the U.S. Airforce Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field in Florida (Lieutenant General Marshall B. Webb), that under Obama the military caved into its demands. “As you may recall in 2012, then Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey ordered the U.S. military to ‘scour its training material to ensure it doesn’t contain anti-Islamic content,” CAIR writes in a letter to Lieutenant General Webb. Judicial Watch will monitor this situation to see how the Trump Department of Defense (DOD) handles these preposterous requests.

Hands up don't shoot. No . . . wait, let me figure this out.

A 16-year-old freshman at Eastern Senior High School in Northeast Washington was arrested after he allegedly posted a threat against the school and students. Police said they arrested the ninth-grade student after he posted a photo on Instagram with the caption “school shooter” and two gun emoji.

The Metropolitan Police Department said the teenager would be charged as a juvenile after they found guns at his residence. Police officers say they were alerted by the school administration and after searching his home, found firearms, but they do not believe he planned to attack the school.

While the police has said that there were several social media posts by the student, they did not disclose their contents.

District of Columbia Public Schools issued the following statement on the incident.

“The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. Following security and emergency protocols, DCPS immediately notified the Metropolitan Police Department. This threat was taken very seriously, was quickly resolved with minimal disruption, and is being treated as an isolated incident. We continue to work with proper authorities in monitoring these types of social media postings, and we will remain vigilant in maintaining student and staff safety.”

Principal of Eastern High School, Sah Brow, sent a letter to students and their families on Monday:

“Dear Eastern High School Community,

At Eastern, we highly value and are committed to fostering a learning environment where students feel safe and secure. We are also committed to maintaining transparency with our school community concerning security issues.

This morning, the administration was made aware of a possible threat through social media which referenced our school.

Following security and emergency protocols, we immediately notified Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), School Security, and School Operations. While this threat is concerning and was taken very seriously, it was quickly resolved with minimal disruption and is being treated as an isolated incident. Please know, all students and staff remained safe throughout this process. We continue to work with proper authorities, in monitoring these types social media postings, and we will remain vigilant in maintaining our students and staff safety.

Parents/Guardians, I encourage you to partner with me and discuss the importance of the safe and responsible use of social media with your children. We also encourage students that if they see any material online perceived to be threatening or unsafe, they should immediately report their concerns to a trusted adult, for example, a teacher, counselor, principal, or school resource officer. In this way, we are all working together to keep our school community safe.

I feel very fortunate to have a well-trained and aware staff that handled this situation quickly and appropriately. I also want to thank our MPD, School Security and School Operations partners for their quick response in ensuring the safety of our school community.

Your child’s safety remains my top priority. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. Thank you again for your cooperation and support.”

Some parents, however, were not satisfied with the way the situation was handled and said they should have been alerted earlier in the day when the threat was discovered.

Go ahead, harass this.

This Saturday, reports emerged that Iran denied US accusations of its fast-attack boats harassing warships in the Persian Gulf. The report also claimed that Iran has said Washington would be responsible for any armed clashes in the Strait of Hormuz, which is a key oil shipping route.

Earlier, US Navy commanders accused Iran of endangering navigation in the international waters by harassing warships. The US navy also warned Iran that such incidents could lead to possible miscalculation and result in armed clashes.

While it was only the first time a US carrier entered the narrow strait since Donald Trump took office in January, the aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush was confronted by fast-attack boats belonging to the Iranian Navy. According to one of the commanding officers aboard the US-led, five-vessel flotilla, which included the George H.W. Bush, the Iranian boats had their weapons uncovered, armed, and manned.

“What I don’t like about that is they (Iranian boats) were in the middle of international transit waters (while) we had a right to be there as we were exercising freedom of navigation on our way into the Arabian Gulf,” Rear Admiral Kenneth Whitesell, commander of the Carrier Strike Group 2, told journalists, as quoted by Reuters.

“They also had weapons uncovered as some of the cameras were able to tell. They had some of the weapons manned. We also have aerial data that they were arming all of these weapons.”

According to reports, two sets of fast-attack boats belonging to the Iranian Navy advanced towards the flotilla, with some of them coming as close as 870 meters to the aircraft carrier.

In Tehran, however, the deputy chief of Iran’s armed forces, Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri alleged that US’ claims of confrontation in the Gulf were the result of “false reports and ulterior motives.”

“We emphasize that the Americans would be responsible for any unrest in the Persian Gulf, and again warn that the U.S. military must change its behavior,” General Jazayeri was reported as saying.

The whole incident ended without a single shot being fired and the vessels continued on their path to the northern part of the Gulf to join the US-led airstrikes against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. However, it is taken by several experts as a sign of the tensed relations between the two states.

Donald trump has already locked horns with the Islamic Republic, calling it the “number one terrorist state.” In response to a missile test by Tehran, the US president also hinted that military options are not ruled out when it comes to dealing with Iran.

A year ago, Britons were already incensed by the continued liberal immigration policies that allowed Muslim immigrants from around the world.

Here’s a quick video from June of 2016 showing how tense relations were then:

If you watch until the end, the Christian group of Londoners were eventually pelted with stones by the crowd of 300 Muslim immigrants.

Since that time, 87 people were killed in the Nice truck attack in France, 12 were killed in Berlin, this week, several people, including one America were murdered in London but a radicalized Muslim immigrant.

How are Britons feeling now?

Brit Tommy Robinson, took to the street to sum up the views of his countrymen.

target

Charles Barnett had a big plan to bomb several Target stores and use the explosions to help him get rich.

Barnett, 48 lives in Ocala Florida and devised a plan to bomb several Target stores from Florida all the way to New York.

The bomber solicited the help of a man who turned out to be a law enforcement informant. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida issued a statement about the suspected bomber.

“Barnett theorized that the company’s stock value would plunge after the explosions, allowing him to cheaply acquire shares of Target stock before an eventual rebound in prices.”

A report from Reuters said the bombs were disguised in the packaging for products and the informant was picked to place them on the shelves. According to Reuters, the bombs were placed in packages of pasta, stuffing mix and breakfast bars.

Barnett had the whole thing planned out and made the bombs and hid them well. He hired a convicted felon on probation to assist him in his deadly get-rich scheme, but the felon turned out to be an informant.

When it came time to place the bombs, Barnett gave them to the informant with gloves, a facemask and a cover to conceal his license plate. The Ocala Star Banner is reporting that Barnett also promised $10,000 for the help of the informant blowing up 10 different Targets.

Luckily the informant turned over all the bombs to police and on Monday, the authorities search Barnett’s home and found more bomb parts.

On top of being a bomb maker and horrible tax advisor, Barnett is also a registered sex offender and on probation himself for kidnapping, sexual battery and grand theft.

The bomb maker has been charged with possession of a destructive device and a charge of affect commerce and faces up to 10 years in prison.

Barnett isn’t linked to any formal terror group.
